This collection is designed to be a full of chunky heirlooms you can wear and pass down. Something to make you feel bold, and seen.
At the centre of this piece is a purple and blue toned boulder opal from Winton, QLD. The band and backplate are sterling silver, whilst the shiny part of the band is 9k gold, and the thick shadow box border is also 9k gold. The contrast between the opal colour. silver and gold - with a dark oxidised border around the stone really makes this piece pop!
The ring face measures: 22x22mm
The band measures 18mm at the widest point, and 10mm at the taper underneath.
Size: US size 8.75 on the mandrel, fitting like 8.25
Note: This ring band will fit like 8.25 due to the wide band.
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine, solid metals, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces.

Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
