Desire - Hilltribe Necklace (approx 588 USD)
Each piece in this collection has been completely hand crafted from start to finish! The beads themselves are handmade by the people of the Karen Hilltribe in Northern Thailand. They are a super high silver purity - varying between 95-98%+ depending on solder joints (most silver jewellery you buy is predominantly 92.5%, which is standard. They have the most incredible patterning, and the craftsmanship is second to none!
These necklaces have been hand strung by me, and incorporate beautiful, solid Queensland Pipe & Boulder Opals.
The length of this necklace is 47.5cm (18.7 inches)
The pendant component of the necklace measures approximately: 1.5cm x 1cm
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces.
*OPALS
Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
IMPORTANT: Opal jewellery should be treated with care when worn. It is important to note that they are a natural material and can be subject to cracking if they are knocked against something hard, or dropped.
